A Multidisciplinary Approach to Healing

No two patients experience pain the same way, and no single treatment works for everyone. That guiding philosophy has shaped every aspect of how Georgia Spinal Health & Wellness operates. Rather than defaulting to a one-size-fits-all adjustment or referring patients immediately to costly surgical consultations, the clinical team evaluates each person holistically—considering injury history, lifestyle, and long-term goals—before recommending a customized care plan.

“My goal has always been to find the single best treatment for each patient, or the right combination of treatments, and then teach them the wellness principles that will stay with them for a lifetime,” says Dr. Hochman. “True health isn’t just the absence of pain—it’s a body that functions the way it’s meant to.”

This integrative philosophy is backed by credentials that span multiple disciplines: Dr. Hochman holds a Physiotherapy Certification from the National College of Post Graduate Education, a Kale Upper Cervical Certification, and an IDD/Spinal Decompression Certification from North American Medical Systems—alongside recognition as Creative Loafing’s Best Chiropractor in Atlanta and a recipient of the Best of Atlanta Vision award. Whether you’re recovering from an auto accident, managing a chronic disc condition, or seeking relief from recurring headaches, the expertise at Georgia Spinal is built to meet you where you are.

Testimonials

“I was very pleased with my experience at Georgia Spinal Health & Wellness I can be a hard critic of any medical care places and the people employed by them. Combine that attitude with an innate crankiness when I’m not feeling at all well and the result can be much less than pleasant. This time (My first time at Georgia Spinal Health & Wellness) was a world away from previous experiences elsewhere. It was good to be treated with professionalism and care. When I say the doctor and all the other employees of the Georgia Spinal Health & Wellness made me feel that I was in safe hands and even made me smile when I left, then you can believe they are the best. I am truly grateful and won’t get that awful feeling of dread the next time my back hurts and am unable to get any significant relief. I appreciated their follow-up and willingness to answer questions also. A big thank you to all of them.“

“I had been suffering with severe neck pain and numbness in my right hand. Nobody was able to fix my problem for years and I was losing faith. When I found out about GA Spinal and the IDD therapy I was excited. We began the treatment and within 5-7 visits my pain was gone. After 10 treatments my numbness also subsided. I completed my care and have since been able to go back to my normal lifestyle. “

“The IDD therapy is a miracle. I have completed 13 treatments and for the first time in months I exit the bed nearly free of aches and pain. I now sleep nearly 7 hours without interruption. Prior to the IDD treatments I would only sleep 1.5 to 4 hours per night. I walk more freely and exit the car with greater ease. I walk with no buckling of the leg. I can walk my long driveway to the mailbox rather than retrieving my mail by car. It has even made my typically optimistic outlook on life return. This has given me my life back. Prior to IDD I had nearly given up hope of returning to normalcy. I feel like doing things that I have not been able to do in months. I call this miraculous and am beginning to live again.“
